SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We’ve been developing our product suite SIHOT since 1986 and our hotel management software runs in more than 3.500 hotels worldwide. Our offices with a total of 200 employees are located near Berlin, in Valencia, Lisbon, Cardiff, Sao Paulo and Australia’s Gold Coast.

YOUR TASKS

• Produce and implement software designs according to the specifications provided
• Transform software designs and specifications into high funtioning code
• Provide hands on technical leadership to the team, including your own code contributions, design reviews and prioritization
• Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for internal quality management and user support
• Bring a deep understanding of software development in a team and a proven track record of shipping software on time
• Advise senior and executive management

YOUR PROFILE

• BSc/BA in computer science, software engineering or relevant discipline
• Proven experience of 5+ years as a programmer or relevant role
• Proven experience of 2+ years management experience leading software development teams of 5people or more
• Deep hans-on technical expertise; prior experience as software developer or software development manager
• Experience in system design and coding knowledge (C++, Java or other object oriented programming languages)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
• Excellent English, both verbal and written
