The check-in process starts by entering the reservation number, the GDS or a QR-code. The guest then completes the data required for the registration, confirms the hotel’s general terms and conditions and signs electronically. At the end of the check-in, you have the option to offer a better room category for an additional charge to the guest. If no room has yet been assigned to the reservation, you can present the guest with a selection of rooms including images and descriptions in various categories. It is also possible to integrate other services, as for example breakfast or hotel shuttle.

After checking in, the guest can encode a key card at the check-in terminal. Alternatively, the door can be opened with a smart phone, when there is an existing connection with a corresponding interface and a door locking system. If this is the case, the guest will receive an individual ID by email or SMS.
